The short shank with wide gap results in a fully inhaled perch bait and deep hookset. Another Battlestar Tackle product designed for performance in surf fishing.
Always use the Battlestar Soft Candy Perch Bait with a brand new razor-sharp Battlestar Short Shank Perch Bait Hook Size #2 for a deep, secure hookset. Superglue the bait to the hook, for best results.
