You're in for a fun fun show guys! John Matsubu and I went back to the same spot as the last episode. Fishing was super slow to start, but it got good after all! It's just a prime example of the fine fine privilege, of living in Santa Barbara, and having some of the world's best swimbait fishing right in your backyard. Today again, we used the Prototype, Battlestar XLS Weighted Swimbait Hooks and again they performed very well! They simply do not get snagged like the other hooks I've used. It seems I am snagging 90% less since I started using these hooks! And I believe its because the weight is placed further back on the Xtra Long Shank hook, and balanced in such a way that keeps the bait in a horizontal orientation. See for yourself!
